A wonderful atmosphere of unity, colorful national costumes, delicious traditional food, music, and dance - the annual Houston Slavic Heritage Festival brought together Houston’s Ukrainian, Czech, Croatian, Polish, and Slovak communities to celebrate their cultural heritage and stand together in support of Ukraine.
This year, Ukraine was the Festival’s host nation, while once again all proceeds raised during the event will be directed toward humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
Consul General Vitalii Moshkivskyi addressed the Festival participants with welcoming remarks:
“For us, it is particularly meaningful that, for the fifth consecutive year, the Festival organizers have unanimously decided to dedicate the proceeds to humanitarian assistance for Ukraine. This is a true example of friendship and solidarity expressed not only in words, but through meaningful action.”
Our sincere gratitude goes to the Festival organizers, volunteers, performers, participants, and all the guests who helped make this celebration possible.
Thank you for your solidarity and unwavering support for Ukraine!
